Q&A with .pease. !

I am very honoured that she took the time, to answer all my questions. She is a true top model in the Stardollworld. The one and only .pease. a.k.a. Linnea

'Fashionably Drowned' by Linnea.

M: When did you first find out about Stardoll?:
L: I Found Out About Stardoll In December 2006, I Think. I Then Had Another Account Than I Do Now Though. I Created This Account In November 2007.
M: Why did you start modeling?Who inspired you to do that? Was there anybody like a role model for you?:
'Moschino - I Love Love' by Linnea.
L: To Be Honest, I First Started Because I Was Requested To Do So. I Kept On Being Invited To New Modeling Clubs And Agencies, So I Simply Signed Up For A Few, And Suddenly I Won Them. It All Went Pretty Fast, But When I Started To really Realize What Happened, I Could Be More Specific With The Choices Of Modeling Clubs I Joined And Which Cycles I Joined, And That's When My So Called Career Really Took Place.
M: You have an amazing style and create always extraordinary outfits. How is your style on Stardoll compared to yours in real life?:
L:  I Always Gain Inspiration For My Outfits From My Mind, Where My Thoughts, Feelings, Emotions etc. Is, Both For My Stardoll Outfits And My Real Life Outfits. But Of Course My Stardoll Outfits Is A Bit More Extreme And As I Want Them To Be Than My Real Life Outfits, As In Real Life I Always Have To Suit My Outfit To The Climate Around Me. I Can't Really Go Out With A Short Jacket Only In The Winter, Or A Huge Fur In The Summer.
M: What are your achievements on Stardoll so far? Did they have any influence on your real life?:
L: Well My Biggest Achievement So Far Must Be When I Won Vanity Models Cycle 1. It Was Such A Great Honor To Win Such A Great And Big Competition, Especially When There Were So Many Other Extraordinary Girls In The Cycle. It's Really An Amazing Memory. And It Did Influence Me Irl. By Joining That Cycle, And Sending A Request To The Owner, Findurlove, With First Just A Question About One Of The Tasks In It, I Found A Friend For Life.
M: How did you become such an icon?:
L: Hahah, Thanks For The Compliment. But As For The Answer, I Don't Know. I Suppose It's The Crowd Who Makes An Icon, Not The Icon Itself.
M: What is the one thing you will never forget, that happened to you on Stardoll?
L: There's Been Many Things I Won't Ever Forget, Such As Winning Vanity Models Cycle 1, Or Being Personally Asked To Write At 'Our Stardoll Fashion' etc.. So Much Great Has Happened!
M: Last but not least, do you have any advice for aspiring models?:
'I Don't Wanna Grow Up' by Linnea.
L: Join Cycles! Start With Small Ones, Just For Testing And Practicing, And Then Go On To Bigger Ones, And Bigger Ones. That's The Best Tip I Can Give. And Of Course, Always Be Open For Suggestions And Modeling Positions!

M: Thanks again for taking the time to answer all these questions. I am sure we will hear a lot of you in the future!
L: Thank You! [:

Don't we all deserve a little eye candy?

I decided that there are not enough male models on blogs about stardoll :)! So I will post the eye candy of the month, each moth(I know I am great in making brilliantly witty sentences :P). I may do it every second week. Because no one can get enough of candy, right ;).
Sooo, here we have such an adorable photo of Simon Nessman. He is not only one of my favorite models, but ranked as the 3. best male model in the world! I immediately fell in love with this photo when I saw it. I hope you like it, too.

What does Vogue actually pay its models?

I recently read an article about how much models earn in the business. Who thought that a huge fashion magazine like Vogue would pay thousands of dollars for a shooting? Well, you're probably not the only one. But guess what, it's barely a thousand! Sources say that French Vogue paid about 125$ for one shooting, and American Vogue 250$. That's all? Yes it is ! In the fashion industry you don't make money with fashion! Editorial are merely the jobs that help models land advertisements, which is where they make real money! Also, a magazine like Vogue, doesn't need to pay much. Every model wants a cover or a spread in Vogue even if they would pay nothing. So what to make money with? For example H&M. We all know it, it's cheap yet modern and very wearable. How much does this lovely brand pay its model? About 60.000$ ! Now I know why they only have supermodels like Erin Wasson, Chanel Iman, Sasha Pivovarova, Mathias Lauridsen, Andrés Velencoso and Jon Kortajarena in their catalogues!
